Day 1: Auckland
After meeting the group, you will set off for an orientation tour to let you get acquainted with all that the city has to offer. The range of activities is huge, include shark diving, canyoning in Piha or climb Auckland’s iconic Sky Tower.

Day 2: Auckland to Coromandel
Here you will be able to see remnants of volcanic activity, in the form of natural hot pools you can dig in the sand and make your own hot tub! There is also the opportunity to carve your very own kiwi pendant from bone.

Day 3: Coromandel to Rotorua
Experience the gorgeous coastal scenery of the Cathedral Cove area, made famous by films such as The Chronicles of Narnia. In Rotorua, activities include the famous Zorb, where you roll down the hill whilst inside a giant air-cushioned ball!

Day 4: Rotorua to Waitomo Caves
It is an early start for white-water rafting and sledging on the Kaituna River, including the 7m Tutua Falls! After lunch,we take a trip up the Rotorua gondola, and in the evening your guide may take you on an exciting torch lit trek around some of the area’s caves.

Day 5: Waitomo Caves to Taupo
Waitomo's main attraction is the glow-worm caves, with a choice of various ways to journey underground through the caves. Our particular favourite is black-water rafting and a wicked four hour caving trip. At night, feel free to experience the town’s best nightlife.

Day 6: Taupo
On this free day, you can start off with an epic skydive over the lake or go quad biking, play golf or bungy jump over New Zealand’s longest river, the mighty Waikato. In the arvo, there's an option to take a cruise on The Barbary sailing boat to see Maori rock carvings, whilst in the evening your guide will treat you to a soak in some naturally-heated thermal rock pools.

Day 7: Taupo to Wellington
The 'biggest attractions' on this road are Mt Ruapehu, Mt Tongariro and Mt Ngauruhoe, the volcano better known for Mt Doom in Lord of the Rings. A stop at Mokai Gravity Canyon, (an extreme adventure park), allows you to ride the world’s most extreme flying fox and NZ’s second largest bungy. In summer, we finish with a BBQ on one of the beaches in front of the dying sun, reaching Wellington by 6.30pm to say your final goodbyes.
