This snow trip takes you to the biggest ski resort in the Himalayan region, Gulmarg, India. The Gulmarg village is located on a ring shaped mountain range surrounding the valley of Kashmir, at the altitude of 2600m. The Peak altitude of Apharwat Mountain is 4220m, with the gondola climbing to an elevation of 3960m. The complete gondola provides a ski area of approximately 5 sq km, with runs of up to 7 kms!

Base
Rosewood Hut
Private and intimate accommodation with a private toilet and shower. Located close to the gondola base, you can ski straight to the gondola.

Halfway
Grand Mumtaz Hotel
A new hotel in Gulmarg, only in its 2nd season of operation. It is located conveniently close to the gondola base, and offers great comfortable rooms with great service. Facilities include: in-house Laundry, Central Heating, Internet Facility on request, Cable TV with multi channel facilities, STD/ISD and fax facilities & All major credit card accepted.

Summit
Highland Park Hotel
One of Gulmarg's best class hotels, it provides a blend of comfortable accommodation with genuine Kashmiri hospitality. The hotel is built out of chalet type cabins, with a central building that serves as a reception, dining hall/restaurant, lounge/bar, and disco dance area. Located on the top of Gulmarg’s beginner slopes, it a perfect spot for any beginner skiers, and gives spectacular views of Apharwat mountain.

You're on a snow holiday! The order of the day is skiing and boarding. When you want to kick back and take a break, you can rest easy in our accommodation options, and sample the local restaurants' variety of cuisine.

Package Itineraries
11 Day Package
Day 1:
Arrive in Delhi Domestic Airport and take an internal flight to Srinagar. The flight will take about an hour, thereafter you will be met at the airport and taken by private jeep to Gulmarg. You will then check into your chosen accommodation.

Days 2-10:
You now have 8 days of days to enjoy fully guided off-piste skiing/snowboarding on fresh powder every day. The gondola rises to almost 4000m, and then releases you to enjoy some runs that are over 7km and untouched!

Day 11:
Your massive journey has come to a close. You'll return to Srinagar again using the private jeep, take the hour flight back to Delhi and fly home to tell all your mates that they have to come over with you next year!

15 Day Package
Day 1:
Arrive in Delhi Domestic Airport and take an internal flight to Srinagar. The flight will take about an hour, thereafter you will be met at the airport and taken by private jeep to Gulmarg. You will then check into your chosen accommodation.

Days 2-14:
You now have 12 days of days to enjoy fully guided off-piste skiing/snowboarding on fresh powder every day. The gondola rises to almost 4000m, and then releases you to enjoy some runs that are over 7km and untouched! On rest days, you can take it easy back at your hotel.

Day 15:
Your massive journey has come to a close. You'll return to Srinagar again using the private jeep, take the hour flight back to Delhi and fly home. No doubt you'll be the envy of your friends, and have something attractive to talk about when you're on your next date with the opposite sex.
